thought I was ordering the tooth brush not just the heads. As I do not have the brush they are useless. Yes, I KNOW this review is not helpful but I have to put a review on under the Vine procedure.So there.

I didnt give this product the full five stars because I’m unsure that replacement heads for the electric toothbrush are not, aswell as allowing you to extend the life of the brush, a clever business and marketing model ensuring/requiring repeat sales and business. Like the pricey replacement ink cartridges for printers.
However, I dont believe an individual product deserves to be judged purely on the basis of a marketing or business trend and cautionary notes about this sales practice probably more readily deserve to be attached to the handset than the heads.
These brush heads provided me with a clean feeling much more like that associated with a visit to the dentist and professional cleaning, although I generally do spend some time brushing my teeth. I also brush in the morning and at night regularly and use destaining mouthwash too. So there’s a couple of independent variables to be considered. I found the feeling of clean teeth provided by this brush head to be satisfactory, it didnt make my gums bleed or rattle my teeth in or to their sockets either so it was fine.
The smaller “cups” within the brush head are designed to hold more toothpaste and hold on to it more effectively than a regular brush, I think this is a bit of a gimic and again it could well depend on the paste you are using, how much and how you apply it to the brush. The indicator bristles which signal when a new brush head is needed work to plan and as expected.

Of a range of toothbrush heads offered by Braun, and best used with their rather expensive Triumph range of electric toothbrushes, these are of less value than the floss action heads. I used, after a floss action head brush needed to be replaced, the ProBright brush for several months. To be completely honest I noticed absolutely no whitening effect on my rather yellowish teeth. I used a range of brushes and am sympathetic to the concept that the central yellow ‘cup’ of these brush heads hold toothpaste in place. In practice they do not appear to work however. They might with rather more effective toothpaste available in the US, but in the UK I would not bother with these brush heads.
Overall, a potentially sensible brush head, that fails to deliver an effective cleaning experience as the floss head brushes which are for daily use.

Braun’s excellent range of electric toothbrush products lead the field and cater for a wide range of people from the diligent who brush, floss and use mouthwash through to the lazy who can’t trust themselves to use a manual toothbrush properly. I must admit that I fall into the latter category and therefore I use the Braun toothbrush because it allows me to give my teeth a superior clean but without any-more time and effort as I would invest in cleaning my teeth manually.
These ‘ProBright’ heads differ from the normal ones in that they have a small polishing cup at the centre of the head. For me, as a ‘lazy’ user, the added value is limited and I can’t say that I’m more impressed with these than I already was with the regular replacement heads. However, a flossing and gargling dental enthusiast may find that the polishing function noticeably adds-value!
To use these replacement heads you will need to own a Braun electric toothbrush, which at under £20 on Amazon for the basic Braun Oral-B Professional Care 6000 Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush model is a great value investment in your teeth.
